Yunnan Transformer Electric holds relocation ceremony
Yunnan Transformer Electric Co., Ltd. has held a ceremony to put into operation its relocation and expansion project, with more than 500 employees attending.
Nowadays, Cloud Transformer has a construction area of over 60,000㎡, with the highest altitude 500kV transformer shielding test hall in China, equipped with a new vertical winding machine, 200t travelling crane, 280t air cushion car, 11m, 14m paraffin vapour phase drying, coil variable pressure drying, and silicon steel sheet automatic shearing line.
With a 15000kVA industrial frequency generator set, 4000kVA frequency doubling generator set, 3000kV lightning shock voltage, 2*300kV industrial frequency test transformer and a large number of advanced equipment, the scale of production capacity has jumped from 12 million kVA to 30 million kVA.
With the implementation of energy-saving and emission reduction strategies such as the 2030 Carbon Peak, 2060 Carbon Neutral “Transformer Energy Efficiency Improvement Plan (2021-2023), the rapid development of the new round of photovoltaic and wind power generation, as well as the strong promotion of high-speed rail to the sea and the hydropower silicon and hydropower aluminum industries in Yunnan Province, Cloud Transformer will usher in new and huge market opportunities.
Subsequently, the leading team members of the company carried out the unveiling of the plaque and the commissioning ceremony was successfully concluded with the sound of firecrackers.
