The Preobrazhenskaya substation with a capacity of over 500 MVA has been launched in Buzuluk, Orenburg Region.

The project, costing over $40 million, has been implemented by the Federal Grid Company of the Unified Energy System (FGS UES).

The substation will provide energy for Orenburgneft (part of Rosneft oil company). The facility will improve the stability of the region’s energy system.

“The launch of the substation will eliminate the energy deficit in the west of the region and will build the foundation for the further economic development of the entire region,” said Acting Governor of the Orenburg Region Denis Pasler.
